UMUC EDTC Capstone Project
|
This project is the culmination of an educational journey. Exploring different approaches and methods of using technology as a tool to support 21st century learning was the goal of program. UMUC Masters of Instructional Technology has created educators that are fully prepared to lead our students into a productive future; where learning styles and learning differences are fully integrated into all curriculum and instruction. 21st century learning skills including the 4 C's (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, and Critical Thinking)are acknowledged as important skills our students need to equip themselves for their global future. My project contained in this website uses all the background information and training I received in this program. The goal of the capstone project was to identify a learning issue in a school and then research, design, and initiate a strategy supported by technology. Using active research to support my intervention strategy, I implemented a new approach to address the identified learning issue. The following pages illustrate my research, process, and methods. |
